All... we are working on some of the new skin elements for the iPhone.... While this is just some 'initial' work and there are alot of UI elements the need to replaced and fixed... we are confident that within 3-4 weeks you will see what is possible with the power of our CoreUI widget interface and CorePlayer.

Oh... and yes as stated the bottom iPod icons are just temp holder icons for the moment till we replace them with our new ones.

Looks awesome. I know it's early to be asking questions, but this is one of the key apps that I've been waiting for before pulling the trigger on an iPhone (I don't want to have spend the time converting video files of stuff I already have if I can avoid it). I used to (and still do, though infrequently) use TCPMP on my old iPaq and it was great.

Is there (will there be) support for the tilt to horizontal feature to watch movies?

Hi, just a quick question: Does the Player for Iphone / iTouch support TV out function?
The current intergrated MP4 player and the Youtube player support TV out.

One more thought, since the demo shows the horizontal viewing..How will syncing video content to the iPhone work? Will you need to connect the phone as a HD via USB or will it be possible to sync via iTunes?

I can't wait...

The SDK is supposed to allow filetype additions.... but i'll guess we will see tomorrow.

no... we are working on getting the player to match the SDK atm... we are only submitting it to Apple afterwards. We are 3 months away from the App Store launch.

betaboy can you tell me if the iphone will be able to play anime without converting WITH coreplayer? (basically avi divx/xvid or mkv at 24 frames per second, at 640/480 or 704x396 resolution.)

thats a loaded question..... I have no idea what device you are using... the bitrate of the file.. etc.

well the bitrate of my videos are 800, resolution 640x480/700x400 at 24 frames per second. Can the iphone handle that without conversion?

sorry but again a loaded question that I cannot answer without more details... so in short without knowing what features your using to encode with... and at that resolution/bitrate without hardware acceleration it should play good (AVC however may not). Does this differ from the Apple spec here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html

Sure... but they are using hardware acceleration to get those numbers... and its something we may or may not support right from the get go for our iPhone version as well.

BetaBoy you look so different, you had a new nose job?

Any news on the CP-Iphone-Ver? Do you think that apple might ban the CP in the Appstore, cause it plays formats, apple is not comfortable with?

We are going through the motions with Apple... we were contacted by them 3x this past week alone. So i'd say atm things are going very well. We will be ready for the launch of the AppStore for sure.... the question is will Apple.
