I have a few phones, mainly WM Pro or standard but have just got a Symbian S60v3 phone. I like to use different phones.
Can I buy one license for all my devices or do I have to buy a different one for each one? If so, I won't bother. I'd like to use coreplayer rather than TCPMP but not at any expense!

Different phones, different CorePlayer builds = different licenses.

OK. np. I'll just have to do without Coreplayer on any of them then.

Thanks

Yup, it's be great to have at least some kind of a rebate if a user gets multiple licenses. For example, I've bough an S60v3 and a WinMo PPC - both at the original price.

We are working on that, but its not going till be till 2.0 and can only occur at one reseller. Since Mobihand is our main squeeze it will be them atm.

Betaboy can we expect multi license in version 2.0?
Last year you were saying that it should come in version 2.0 and considering that it is confirmed that it will include Core Account which was supposed to be used for multiple license(according to support page at least) so can we expect it now?
And what does it mean for Marketplace?
Will we be able to move CP from one device to another according to the rules of marketplace?

I updated the KB answer. With so many resellers their policies differ drastically from ours. As far as the CA... because of the reseller policy difference's we have decided to hold off the CA launch till a later 2.x release. The downside to this is we cannot launch the customizations, Web Guide, and account management that we wanted with the initial 2.0.

That's bad, very bad :(
Can't you just change the reseller(or sell it by yourself without 3rd party company) or just scrap the CA to include only customizations, web guide and include the multi platform licence when it will be possible?
Web guide was one of the things that would give it an edge over competition. Shame would be not to include it in version 2.0...
Besides considering the time between releases it would mean that web guide could come in a year or even more when it could lose its competitive edge...
